If seas get much rougher, we aren't doing unreps, for fear of people being injured or lost at sea. Standing aboard the destroyer's bridge wing, looking at the USS Kennedy, I was looking into the O3 and O4 portholes of the carrier when at the crest of a wave. Moments later, I would be looking upward at the elevator, unable to see inside, from the bottom of the trough. That's a ride you can never forget!
